After growing up with & cutting his DJing skills in
Weston-super-mare with Classic's Lil Mark, Matthew has
released music alongside the Idjut boys on the L.A.
based FreeStyle label, as well as remixes for City Rockers
& Music for Freaks.
Matthew has been playing for about 10 years playing
venues in UK & Europe such as Herbal, Plastic People,
Classic Records Parties, Berlins WMF, Polar TV & Rufen
Mich Nicht Wieder An.
Matthew spent time in London, Paris and Milan as musical
director for various fashion houses and gained a solid
reputation for producing intelligent & innovative music
shows, and gaining notable mentions in the International
style press for his work.
This year Matthew has been managing his go_disko* project
working with labels such as Kompakt, BPitch Control,
Shitkatapult, Kitty-yo!, Classic & Music for Freaks,
producing forth-coming projects with Lil Mark for a
revived Luxury Service, as well as taking over Label
Management for Damian Lazarus's Cross-Town Rebels Imprint.
Matthew has a funky style that transverses house, techno,
disco & electronica.

The label 'Music For Freaks' was formed by Justin Harris
and Luke Solomon in January 1999 and has fast become
the premier outlet for producers who like to push the
boundaries and break the rules of sonic evolution! Luke
also co-owns Classic Recordings alongside House legend
and international producer and disc jockey extrordinaire
Derrick Carter. 'See You @ The Party' Features tracks
and remixes from the artists who make the label so special.

Matthew Styles and Jonny Rock have been stalwarts of
the UK house scene since the early 90's. Matt Styles
is a DJ renowned for playing the hottest nightspots
in the hottest towns including the likes of Slash &
Burn (London), Back 2 Basics (Leeds), WMF (Berlin),
Berlin Love Parade plus productions and remixes on Cross
Town Rebels, City Rockers, Classic, Wax and MFF. Jonny
Rock is the latest edition to the Freaks posse, touring
and producing alongside Luke Solomon and Justin Harris

stars of the house scene.
